Mission Statement

Hyperplex - A Casual Gaming Community

Hyperplex is a North American-based gaming community founded back in 2013 for the sole reason to provide a mature and toxic-free gaming environment. We have gone through many changes but our core values of maturity, loyalty, and positivity still hold true. Hyperplex specializes mostly in FPS games such as the Battlefield and Call of Duty series. We also love our RPG games such as World of Warcraft where we have a very active Alliance guild. We've also recently opened up on the games we support in the community, giving our members more channel options and new spaces to play their favorite games. We're a casual bunch of gamers that like to hang out most nights, meet new people, and takes games both seriously and not so seriously.

Location

We are mostly a North American community but we have members from all over the globe! We always look forward to expanding our reach to South America, Europe, and Asia.

Cross-platform Friendly

We are primarily a PC-only community, however, members across XBOX, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch are welcome to join us for any cross-platform titles.
As long as you can access our Discord, you're good to go!

Games We Play

Apex Legends

A lot of us always find our way back to Apex. When other games seem to always find a way to let us down, Apex is always a very solid experience. Whether you love ranked or just messing around in unranked, you'll be able to find a squad. We're very much looking forward to the future of the game and can't wait to play with our members, new and old!

Battlefield

What can we really say about BF2042 that hasn't already been said? The game wasn't ready and it's in a pretty poor state. A lot of our members have since moved on to other games but I know a good chunk of us are eagerly awaiting big updates for the game. We wanted BF2042 to be the main focus of Hyperplex but with the exclusion of many features that makes that nearly impossible, we had to shift our focus elsewhere.

We will likely be hosting events for older Battlefield titles in the near future and we may even though in a 2042 event in as well. Keep an eye out if you're interested in anything Battlefield.

Call of Duty

Call of Duty has been a mainstay in our community for a couple years now. Even when Warzone is in a rough spot or they release a game like Cold War, our members tend to stick with the game and play it almost daily. Although Vanguard and the new Warzone map has been very divisive. Similar to BF2042's troubles, it's not really what the player base wanted and execution was subpar. That said, the new anti-cheat seems to really be working and makes games more enjoyable. We think Warzone will get better overtime and we'll be there every step of the way.

Destiny 2

Destiny 2 has come and gone when it comes to Hyperplex but we believe it's here to stay for the long term. Destiny 2 is arguably in it's best state it's been in for a long while. After the sunsetting fiasco, the game has only gotten better with tons of QoL additions, great seasonal content (especially story), and tons of great loot to chase. Vaulting content isn't great but it's understandable to a degree. We're very excited for Witch Queen in February and are currently enjoying season 15.

Halo

Halo's recent entry with Infinite has been mostly positive overall. It's hard not to like halo's solid gameplay/gunplay but it is hard to like their monetization model for multiplayer. While Infinite has had it's problems, it's been much more well received than BF2042 or Vanguard, which says a lot. A lot of us are enjoying Infinite and some are even still playing MCC. We'd love to see new members that are interested in Halo so we can do more game nights.

League of Legends

League hasn't been a typical entry for Hyperplex up until recently. We realized that a lot of our members play very often but didn't really have a space within the community to play or talk about the game...so we changed that. We won't have a competitive team or anything but many folks play all modes, including ranked.

Lost Ark

Lost Ark is likely the most anticipated game of early 2022 for our community. It's not very often that a "new" mmo releases in the West so it's going to be all hands on deck. We will have a, likely East coast, guild and will go through the game and progress through the tier 1 endgame. We're not going to be a hardcore raiding guild but we will want to touch all content available including Legion Raids once they release.

Minecraft

Minecraft is another game that's never really been apart of the community but we realized that a lot of our members play on a regular basis and wanted to give them a space to play together within the Discord. Our members play both versions of Minecraft and often play on heavily modded servers. We'd love to see more members interested in the game so we can host events.

World of Warcraft

We have a moderately sized, active guild on Stormrage (Alliance) and we're always accepting new members, especially those who want to raid and run mythic+!

WoW Raid Schedule | Progression - Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 10pm EST. Off-raiding Wednesdays and Sundays also starting at 10pm EST. Currently looking for Mythic raiders! Contact SilentStrike (or Bulark in-game) or Hurrynheal in Discord to learn how to join.

We also bounce around with other games sometimes such as Elder Scrolls Online, Escape From Tarkov, Final Fantasy XIV, Insurgency Sandstorm, Path of Exile, PUBG, Squad, and Valorant.

How to Join

There is no long, drawn-out process to join our community. Simply join our Discord, accept the welcome screen, and that's it!
We do have a full membership program that grants members more Discord permissions, access to private channels, and exclusive giveaways but this program is not required. We only promote folks to full member status once we get to know you and you have proven to us that you're a dedicated member of the community.
