What we offer

Nomads are and will always remain a "small" clan in comparison to the majority of SQUAD clans out there, we have no desire to become so large that people never get to know each other, as the general public domain does a good job at doing that already. So we value activity and a desire to mingle with your clan mates above all else. SQUAD is currently our main focus, however we do dabble and have weekly game nights playing other games together. Our peak time is obviously evenings, with 7pm UK time being our main goto group up time. Not to say people aren't around throughout the day, however this is when you will most likely get into a full group or two with us. So bare that in mind with your timezone.

We take our firefights seriously, work together and communicate, however we do not snap at someone cracking jokes mid combat, no "clear comms!" repeatedly shouting until your ears bleed. It's a game, we are here for fun and hopefully to kickass while in the persuit of that, so of course we aim to improve our gameplay also. There are currently no structured "ranks", so if you like working towards invisible goals of military make-believe, then I'm afraid you will be highly dissapointed here. You will select your desired in-game kit roles on, and hone those skills on our sunday games. We have ample squad leaders and offer anyone the oppertunity to try whatever they want to, we are no elitists and will guide you along as best as we can. Nomads have existed as a clan since 2009, starting off in a game called Darkfall, so the core members in Discord have stuck around a while now. Our SQUAD chapter is a fairly new venture, however many players are veterans of Project Reality and have dabbled in SQUAD since it's launch into EA on Steam. Suggestions and changes are WELCOME here, nothing is set in stone and our hierarchy is very much "members come first", you want it? you get it. It's as simple as that. So any and all feedback is sought after. All we ask is that you use discord when online and playing and attend (where reasonably possible) our event days, sunday nights being high up on the requirement list. We get it, real life happens, many of us here already have kids of our own, so naturally you won't make all the events. Provided you have the desire to attend and are trying, then that counts too.

Other than that I'm sure you will have a great time, if you are a brand new player, I'd ask you put a few hours into SQUAD first and see whether it's it's a game you think you will stick with, asides from that, none of us have any issues lending a helping hand to new players. Once you are a fully fledged member, which is decided as and when the other members see fit that you are Nomad material, you will be granted whitelist on a partnered clan's server, where we play regularly.
