Mission Statement

ClanAOD

ABOUT AOD

Clan AOD is a mature gaming community established in 1999, supporting 17+ other games made into divisions.  Currently there are over 3,000 ACTIVE members, which means you never have to play alone anymore. We are a relaxed gaming community that would rather have a good time than be on top of the leaderboards (Not to say we can’t have both from time to time).

Well-run gaming communities can be that place that offers “the tribe” and even a family that fosters this environment of gaming and positivity. We’re there for our members, and we want them to feel safe and connected while they’re with us!

The clan is also active on Twitch and streams frequently showcasing our many supported games on most days of the week.  We have opportunities for members interested in streaming for the clan as well. Here is our official channel: https://www.twitch.tv/clanaodstream

Join us on twitter https://twitter.com/officialclanaod

There are games we support that are not listed on this website, for a full list of AOD Supported games please check out our list of divisions below

FOUNDED IN 1999 AND STILL GROWING!

The Angels of Death is a time-tested organization, supporting over 56 major gaming titles in the past 15 years including classics like Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, and Swat 3.

We’ve lasted this long because of the tireless efforts of people who love gaming, and our community is as diverse as the games we play. AOD is truly a family, and we’ve never stopped growing!

Was one of the worse decisions of my life to join AOD. They are not mature nor drama free. They play favorites and appear to have issues against those who have mental disabilities.

  1. Their Division CO told me flat out, Autism doesn't excuse behavior.
  2. It appears I was kicked because I got into a personal fight with one of their members 5 months before I even joined. In fact, the person I got into the fight with was the one who recruited me. But once they got mad at me personally, they used the system to have me kicked by claiming I was bullying them. Was giving no chance to defend myself and was giving just a generic “Request at the behest of another player due to the emotional and mental anguish which has led to repeated episodes of suicidal ideation.” and refused to explain further.
  3. When I pressed for an appeal, it was denied on the basis that I threatened the member mentioned before. Not only was it not a threat, but it was said back 5 months before I even joined. Yet when I brought up some of the things they did back in the fight, I was told I had no basis because I was not a member yet. So they choose to insert themselves in the drama but only favor the older member and ignore what aspects of my autism may have played in it. They said it was too much drama; so why did they choose to involve themselves in it?
  4. Before I even knew I was banned, they had someone who has claimed to have access to their internal “Tracker” information, proof that I bullied and even accused of trying to make a member commit suicide! They spread this around the game I played, going to several other Clans so I couldn’t join them. They caused a lot of social damage, but AOD isn’t interested if even entertaining the fact someone on their side is spreading false information.
  5. Providing your experience to others such as this site, is apparently revenge posting to them. Even though you tell everything truthful to the best of your knowledge, they believe you have no right to criticize them or make accusations of them even though its alright for them to do the same to you.
And it isn’t like I tried to talk with them first; they just slammed the door in my face. I begged them to just explain what I did wrong, but they wouldn’t and now I know I didn’t do anything. They are covering for one of their own.
  6. Maybe the most disturbing is one of their members has taken a personal family loss of mine and attacked me with it. They implied, in my opinion, that I am responsible for my father passing away. He passed in Dec 2020 from brain cancer. But as far as they are concerned, I was more interested in a freaking game then my father’s health. They made it clear they believe that.

Same person also said I was a murderer because I somehow caused someone, I didn’t know on the internet to have a heart attack and die. They told my family the police were on their way a few days after I was banned. Yet I’m the one that was somehow harassing them when I confronted them about a loan, they had made with me a year prior.

In the end, I implore anyone looking at AOD to seriously consider what I have said. If you look at their own rules of conduct; they apparently apply to your entire life; not just when you are on the game you play with them. (Apparently this is so they don't lose sponsors; which begs the question, do they have the player's back or their sponsor's back?) I wish I didn’t have to write this; I wish AOD was mature enough to actually spend some time and discuss with me what I did and willing to listen to my side of the story. Even if it still ended up with me having to leave, it would be on far better terms than being kicked out and told your behavior disorder doesn’t affect your behavior.

I have been a member since June of 2019. And have worked my way up to the position of commanding officer (1st in command) for the Call of Duty Division. However, I play several AOD supported games. There is hardly ever any drama, and just has lots of cool people to play with. For my part I have never had a problem here. And I have to be in contact with both recruits and the higher ups on a regular basis. As long as you follow COC and to the ULTRA easy activity requirements you will be just fine here.

Sadly that is not my experience. I followed the CoC and was more than active but was still banned without any warning. Its a big red flag when the higher ups refuse to tell you want you did wrong but as far as I know, I did nothing against CoC and their vague reason implies someone made an subjective accusation against me which would require you to hear both sides of the story before you can even make a call.

Been in the War Thunder div since early of 2020. Everyone is chill, joke around, and mostly a good time, but more importantly I move around a lot in my job. Means I'm absent a couple months at a time. AoD is cool with that as long as I can get a heads up in, and I can hop right back in with everyone like nothing. I can not stress how good that is lol. No more clan hopping and the stuff that comes with.

I will say that the mods and leadership between the divisions (games) can and will be different. I enjoy the War Thunder guys and that's all I can speak to.

I got that impression as well especially after I saw some infighting between the FFXIV Division and another one. But the higher ups which are above the divisions either just relied on what the division CO decided on or are just as guilty of not giving someone decent explanation and a chance to hear their side. They denied my appeal, never asked me any questions outside the "Why are you appealing?" and came back with more accusations. They just chalked it up to Drama which I didn't cause any drama; the drama started by them banning me without reason.

Point I'm making is without having to know what exactly went on; everyone deserves to be heard regardless of how much 'evidence' one may have, especially if they are relying on easily manipulated screenshots of Discord chats and similar. May be different if 5+ members witness you do something, but you still deserve a chance to give your side. And above all else, know exactly what you did wrong.

I would not recommend this Clan. Despite their claims to be mature and drama free, you can be booted without warning or explanation outside of a vague ban reason on their forums. Seems if someone with more seniority has an issue with you, you are not entitled to have your side of the story heard or even told what you did wrong. Even if you gave them your loyalty and invested hard time with them, they don't feel you are worth listening to.

I've been in the AOD since 2011. The AOD isn't just a "game clan", it's a structured, friendly, long time game community that supports multiple games, where I have made many friends playing many different games during my 10 years as a member. Check us out, there's a reason we've been around for so long.

AOD member for over 15 years. I vouch for AOD being a great long term home for a gamer. I have been more active in the past, and when life threw its curve balls, It was there for me when I came back.

Thank You :)

I have been in AOD Clan, War Thunder Division, since January 2020.  It is a great group of people who have a lot of fun together playing WT.

We are competitive in Squadron battles, but then best thing is that we have many active players from all over the world.  There is always someone available to join you for some teamwork in the game.

AOD has many very experienced players and they have been generous in helping their clanmates improve.

AOD is a great clan for WT and other popular games.  Hope to see you soon!

Come to clanaod.com and fill in an application.

Depending on what division you apply for the corresponding NCO will reach out and guide you through the induction.

Although if your looking for a competitive clan we are not the one for you. We are a huge family of friends and great guys & Gals to be around. If you have a trash K/D but are a great member to be around we would rather you over the guys with great K/D's.

We are a relaxed Honorable Friendly Clan not a Competitive one.

I applied to this clan via this site a while ago now for the Anthem division. Although Anthem didnt quite come up to the mark and AOD stopped supporting the title, I stayed and joined the COD division as I just love this clan. Ive been in a few clans over the years. Nothing comes close to just how good it is.
Never regretted it for a second.
